ANOTHER ADVENTURE OF ETHEL AND I (SOME OF THESE BLOGS ARE OLD ONES)

another adventure of dove and ethel

well friends today ethel helped me to clean our pool. i have been saying for a month i had to clean it and take it down and put it away...but if you knew me..lol..sometimes i get into the tomorrow mood.

.lately i just haven't wanted to really to anything, and i have so much to do. ethel is like...dove do you think we should get this done? i say yeah, but we can do it tomorrow..well tomorrow never get's here..lol. so today we talked ourselves into it.

i had alread drained it, but it has been sitting there, leaves falling in it..and it wasn't the leavelest thing so there was some water in one side...i was ashamed of it...lol. we went down the ladder into the pool.

.which it is a big one..and got all the dry leaves into a bad, then my son loaned me a sup pump, and we tried to use it..but there wasn't really enough water for that, so i had gotten a wet and dry vac from work that they had thrown away, which i don't know why because it works really well, so ethel was like what about the vac...oh yeah...so we use it and get all the water out and scrubed the side and the bottom. which i had to use the hose to rise it, so there you are more water...lol. now while i was scrubbing the bottom, i hear ethel...yeah i am going to have to take a shower when we are done.

..i look back, and yelp, she had spots all over her legs because i got careless while scrubbing..lol. we kept taking turns with the chores we were doing. and the vac did not have a long hose, so it was like we had to lean over the whole time, and by time we got done we were soooo dirty, and then the couple of time, we slid, and busted our butts...lol..and then i was getting wet leaves out of the corner, and give them a sling...and landed them on ethels feet, and look up at look like she was ready to rub them in my face...lol...i was like oppps sorry...and i couldn't help but laugh of course...and she was getting tired, and it just didn't seem to be that funny to her....lol..and i really tried to keep a serious face ya know...
